A high volume (non-smoking) insurance agency in Greensboro is seeking an upbeat, outgoing and independent individual to join our team as a full-time Insurance Customer Service Representative. The qualified applicant will have very strong attention to detail, as well as exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills. As we continue to grow as what is already a very busy agency, we are in need of a qualified professional who is able to maintain and develop excellent customer relationships, while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated in a fast pace environment, while working within an exceptional team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures
  • Review current client accounts and evaluate for additional insurance needs
  • Write, bind, and underwrite new business policies
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Review and process servicing requests (endorsements, audits, certificates, & cancellations)
  • Learn to analyze all components of insurance policies
  • Manage a multi-line phone system
  • Work extended hours when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Have, or be willing to obtain, NC P&C insurance license
  • Prefer 1 to 3 years of insurance of professional office experience
  • Ability to use company automation including Windows, MS Office, G Suite and proprietary management systems
  • Possess strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Prefer experience managing a multi-line phone system
  • MUST be a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
