Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate manual machines including Bullard VTL, Horizontal Lathe, Bridgeport Mill, and Radial Arm Drill for machining various valves and valve products.
- Consistently adhere to and promote safe work practices.
- Communicate effectively with department supervisors.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and other specifications.
- Inspect parts both visually and dimensionally to ensure they meet required standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Accurately log time spent on work orders to track production tasks.
- Meet production targets on an hourly, daily, monthly, and annual basis.
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized equipment and work areas.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with management to implement changes.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with the team.
- Adhere to all processes and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO and API requirements.
- Complete any tasks assigned by management to support company goals.
