Pharmacy Clerk

Responsible for assisting pharmacy administrative activities. Activities to include; maintaining inventory levels, stock pharmacy with appropriate drugs and supplies, participate in the routine cleaning of the Pharmacy per policy, receive and route phone calls, assist in referral intake, maintain patient files, track lab results, conduct patient discharges, prepare pharmaceuticals for future compounding and non-compounding, pack and ship pharmaceuticals to patients, and all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Minimum one year of related experience.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a face pace
environment.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to constantly walk, stand, sit, kneel and stoop
Preferred Qualifications
Three years or more experience in Pharmacy Clerk role.
  • Prior logistics or shipping clerk experience is a plus.
Education
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
