Apptricity Corporation, the global leader in real-time enterprise asset, inventory, field services, and spend management technology, is currently seeking a passionate Inside Sales Representative to join our company.
In this role, you will partner with Marketing by qualifying incoming leads and supporting our Field Sales Account Executives and solution demo team through deal closure. The Sales Representative will follow a questionnaire to better qualify leads, act as a brand ambassador, representing both the company and our Sales team with the utmost professionalism. Lead generation consists of outbound calling and targeting, inbound internet leads, leads from follow-up efforts from webinars, customer referrals and older leads within existing database.
Location: Onsite in Irving, Tx
What You’ll Do:
- Establish lasting relationships and collaboration within the Sales organization, as well as other departments within the company
- Place a high volume of outbound calls, both from cold prospecting efforts and following up on incoming leads
- Handle general inbound sales inquiries, interest, and order inquiries
- Outbound calling to follow up on older leads, informing prospects and clients of new products, as well as generate referrals from current clients and other lead creation activities
- Create lead profiles with in Salesforce
- Follow up with existing customers with little recent account activity to re-engage
- Gather contact information, market data, qualifiers, and other information from prospects; enter and maintain accurate data in Salesforce
- Work with and develop a cooperative partnership with sales team members to better align efforts
- Ensure proper documentation of all sales prospects and related follow-up activity via Salesforce
- Serve as liaison between customers and appropriate company departments to resolve customer questions and problems
- Nurturing unqualified leads to keep them in the sales cycle
- Provide succinct follow-up via phone and email
- Must be comfortable spending majority of time on the phone working both inbound and outbound leads
- Conduct discovery calls to potential clients to assess need and schedule meeting with Field Sales
- Be able to speak with prospects (mid-level managers to C-level executives) and collect relevant information, leading to qualified sales opportunities effectively and comfortably
- Conduct research on potential clients to better understand their organization, strategy, mission and compelling event that has led to interest, and more
- Ability to learn and manage data in Salesforce, organize and keep track of scheduled tasks to be performed, and research companies and state and local organizations.
- Ability to learn and manage reporting and Salesforce dashboards
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move leads through the sales funnel
- Promptly follow-up with prospects by sending marketing materials, thought leadership and other relevant value add materials
- Work with Sales and Marketing to develop and grow the sales pipeline
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 2-5 years in an inside sales role working with prospective clients
- Previous experience working in the Software Development Industry
- Organized, structured, methodical, and accountable (with accurate data input skills and attention to detail)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated individual who works well as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
