GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Park Vista is currently hiring a Part Time Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant works in accordance with established policies and procedures, and acts as a support person to the Director of HR and HR Generalist.

JOB DUTIES:
Coordinates new hire process including pre-employment screening, systems initiation, orientation, and all related tasks.
Ensures employee and department filing is current, compliant, and organized; completes scheduled audits, processes incoming requests and delivers reporting. Monitors necessary employee licensing and certifications, assisting with communication and applicable reporting.
Assists in coordination of employee activities, such as employee committee, planning and execution of employee activities, i.e.: holiday party, wellness, etc.
Maintains required knowledge by participating in necessary in-services, training, and educational workshops.
Maintains orientation manuals, workers comp packets, drug screening packets, and other department materials.
Monitors, inputs and updates personnel data in the HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other department systems.
Monitors safety programs, reporting, and incentives.
Assists with employee benefits including distributing benefits packets to eligible employees, assisting with Open Enrollment, and serving as an employee resource.
Promotes and protects confidentiality of employee relations, information, and documentation.
Maintains various types of department communication throughout the community.
Organizes recruitment process including applicant screening, correspondence, interview scheduling, testing, applicable paperwork, and related tasks.
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the HR Director, Administrator, and Executive Director.
Is flexible and adaptable to the needs of the department and community.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Thorough knowledge and skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
Experience with HRIS, ATS, and LMS programs.
At least 1 (one) year of administration experience.
Ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and multitask.
Must be detail oriented and have strong organization skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical effort is minimum. Works in well-lighted, comfortable surroundings. Deadlines can produce stressful situations on occasion. Lifting of reams of copy paper and office supplies required, ability to lift 20 +/- lbs.
