Job description
Job Title: Meat Cutter/Butcher
Pay:$20 to 25 an hour; Time and a half on Sundays.
Hours: 40-50; expect to work anywhere from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm depending on what is needed each day to complete all the meat department’s work. Meat department is open 7 days a week.
Job Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in retail or packing plant environment
- Ability to cut pork, beef, and chicken to industry standards.
· Operate a bone-saw, deli slicer and meat grinder
- Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain a food safety certification.
- Good work ethic
- Flexibility with hours, able to start early some days and start later others and working later in the day.
- Ability to work with others to complete department tasks.

· provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
· be able to trim beef, pork and chicken to customers satisfaction

· be comfortable balancing multiple jobs throughout a day
· must be able to be on feet (standing and walking) 8-10 hours a shift
· lift boxes a range of 10-70 lbs.
· follow proper food safety guidelines
