Full time, 40 hours per week
Business Technical Intern II $15.00 to $21.00/hour or
Business Technical Intern III $21.00 to $25.00/hour
This position may be a paid position or for school credit, at the student’s choice and the candidate must be currently attending college/university.

Denver Water’s Raw Water Operations group in the Water Resource Strategy Section of the External Affairs division, operates the Raw Water collection system, develops both short-term and long-range water supply plans and implements programs to increase that supply.
Internship Project Description
Analyze changes in precipitation and snow water equivalent throughout collection system.
Create new accounting sheets.
Evaluate Evaporative Demand Drought Index (EDDI).
Accounting and managing of Raw Water data.
Attendance is required for three intern events held during the summer intern timeframe.
Business/Technical Intern II – Junior or Senior level student in Environmental Sciences and/or Engineering program.
Business/Technical Intern III – Graduate level student.
Must possess and maintain a valid Class `R- Colorado driver-s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
Verbal and written communication
Quality control and quality assurance
Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Basic knowledge of Colorado water issues and water rights
A background check will be conducted to verify information submitted on the application for all applicants.
An offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a post-offer drug test. For a position of this type. Denver Water tests for the following: amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana (THC), opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and alcohol.
