About the Role

This position is primarily responsible for executing internal audit quality assurance program and assisting in establishing methodology and protocols to continuously improving the delivery of internal audit services and the dissemination of relevant information to the internal audit staff.


Executing internal audit's continuous quality assurance and improvement program
Maintaining IAD tools and technology, including the Audit Manual, procedures and related systems
Responsibility over Management Action Plan tracking for the department
Assisting in managing and conducting knowledge/learning/training events
Assisting the execution of internal audit’s annual risk assessment and audit plan and monitoring the delivery of the plan
Assisting in the delivery of various annual and quarterly reports, and other high profile formal reports to the Audit Committee and Senior Management
Assisting in driving further integration of internal audit process with internal other assurance functions
Advising audit team members on proper audit execution techniques
Facilitating internal and external communications, including interacting with regulators and the creation of IAD website and maintenance of its content
Benchmarking with other relevant professional and industry groups
Proactively keep the IAD leadership and staff informed of emerging trends, developments and practices affecting the profession of internal auditing


Minimum four year college degree in business, accounting or related major
3+ years of auditing experience in a large firm or company


Knowledge and experience in reviewing audit workpapers
Heavy analytical, metrics and budgeting experience
Detail oriented and have keen interest in process improvement area
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
Effective project management skills
Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
Minimal travel requirement
