The Artisan Bread Baker is responsible for all aspects of production of MOM’s organic bread and sweets, including preparing dough, shaping and/or portioning, and baking to perfection. They are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.
Some Responsibilities Include:

Utilize provided recipes to prepare batches of different bread doughs, including weighing, combining by hand, turning by hand, and storing appropriately

Portion and shape dough by hand, to provided weight and shape specs

Proof and bake shaped/panned bread to prescribed size and doneness

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and stock levels in the bakery area

Prepare cookies, pretzels, and other baked goods as needed, including mixing, portioning and baking

Performing opening and closing duties as described in shift checklists

Communicate ordering, supply, or ingredient needs with the manager in a timely fashion

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

1-2 years baking-related experience

Experience reading/executing recipes, especially weighing and measuring

Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines

Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands

Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Experience in a fast-paced work environment

Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand longer hours
