A forward-thinking platform stack practitioner in digitally enabled, innovative planning and investment approach for Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) companies. You help Intelligent Products & Platforms clients gain significant market and productivity improvement as digital technology moves into the core of product innovation and engineering. As a Strategy & Consulting Advisor, you are an integral part in aiding our clients transform their product and product related services value chains while fueling your ambitions in the Industry X space and beyond. You’re also comfortable working closely with Accenture and client teams supporting the sales process from origination to closing.
Creates new and fosters existing relationships working to become the trusted advisor to senior executives across the Product and Engineering organizations of our Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) clients.
Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems with our clients Product and Engineering functions, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable technical and business factors.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management and helps determine practice strategy and approach for attainment of both near and long-term practice goals.
Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
Expected to act independently to identify opportunities, establish engagement approaches, pricing, and staffing needs for client engagements. Work with senior account leadership to ensure these are within the overall strategy and guidelines of the account.
Manages large to medium sized teams and/or work efforts at a client and within Accenture.
Identifies and mentor’s new talent within Accenture, the Industry X practice and across the client engagement teams.
Here’s what you need:
A Bachelor’s Degree or at least 12 years of relevant industry experience.
At least 12 years’ experience in the following:
platform design/architecture, engineering practices, and engineering operating model and organization optimization.
maturing Platform Led business models by bringing siloed efforts to a common platform to enable new product experiences.
experience in the “platform stack” including Hardware, Firmware, Embedded Software, and how to optimize these components to improve re-use and new business models.
Minimum 8 years creating Software Engineering teams.
Bonus points if:
Rolodex of CMT industry contacts in the Western Region
Entrepreneurial in nature with start-up experience or mentality
