Are you an expert B2B storyteller? Based in our Seattle Washington office, Expedia Group is looking for a talented content strategist and writer who can integrate with marketing, creative, and product teams to build content programs for global campaigns. Your work will drive partner adoption and deeper engagement with Expedia Group products.
Reporting to the Director of Content, this is an exciting opportunity to join a small, entrepreneurial marketing team that is developing a new content center of excellence for Expedia Group’s Lodging Partner Services organization.
If you are a true content writer/strategist hybrid who can transform complex information into engaging experiences, this job is for you! We are looking for someone with the ability to develop a vision for content marketing plans, while also rolling up their sleeves and getting the work done!
What You’ll Do:
Content Strategy and Creation – From reports, articles and customer stories to landing pages and email, you’ll ideate, write and edit compelling content for our global audiences, and you’ll optimize distribution channels to increase engagement and conversion.
Storytelling – You’ll fill the funnel with content for multiple distinct audience segments and campaign programs. You’ll understand how to structure a narrative from start to finish, and how to best employ different content tactics across the marketing lifecycle. You’ll also be asked to help and offer content guidance for groups like field marketing and local market managers. Most importantly, the ability to think about your audience first and highlight the broader story theme in everything you do.
Audience Marketing – You’ll need to understand the distinct audience segments and adopt the appropriate positioning and messaging to tell the right story, to the right partner, at the right time. You’ll work closely with product marketing to refine personas and audience tone and voice for your content programs.
Optimize – You’ll partner with analytics teams to test, revise and optimize content to help determine the most successful messages and mediums for multiple audience segments.

Experience & Skills
4+ years B2B content marketing
Proven strong written and visual expertise
Experience partnering with product marketing
Organic, earned and paid work examples
Outstanding spelling and grammar
Fluent in content marketing funnel, distribution and measurement
Creative mindset and attitude with bias for action
High attention to detail and strong project management skills
Great teammate with collaborates across a global organization
Ambitious, self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity
Strong knowledge of the current and emerging B2B content marketing landscape as well as a vast understanding of effective digital and social strategies, tactics.
SEO, social media or other channel expertise a plus
Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communication, related field)
Portfolio with work samples required
