The Allocation Manager supports Omni-Channel sales through executing merchandise allocation strategies and store cluster vendor/class assortment recommendations. The Allocation Manager will have deep understanding of JDA Allocation System to inform -need calc- refinement that supports business needs. The specialist will partner with the Director of Allocations in analyzing allocation performance to drive top line sales. You'll collaborate with the Merchandising team to gain deeper understanding of merchandise strategies to optimize allocations that support the business needs. The Manager will also partner with the Merchant teams to quantify min/max need by category at location/cluster.
Who Are You:
2+ years Merchant or Planning experience, Bachelors Degree.
Advanced computer skills in Excel required (v-lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, etc.)
Strong analytical skill set
Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and a passion for innovation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving off price retail environment.
As the Manager, Allocations, you will:
Provide analysis and research to support the creation of the allocation strategy and buy plans.
Responsible for managing location capacity and proactively reporting to leadership by using a future facing solution oriented approach.
Manages allocation strategies focused on store clustering, customer profiles and opportunities by store/channel.
Ensures best practices for allocation planning with a focus on store clustering.
Analytical: Able to synthesize data from all aspects of the business and multiple data points to quickly size risks and opportunities.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $78,000 and $95,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
