SRI PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES is an established private practice, featuring a diverse, caring staff of seasoned professionals. We offer a full range of psychological services, with the primary focus of our work centering on psychotherapy and counseling. Our multi-disciplinary staff is trained and experienced in working with preschool children, school-age children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Our goal, quite simply, is to help.
SRI Psychological Services is a particularly sought-after resource for parents seeking help for their children and teens, and we are well known by the medical community in our service areas. For that reason, we are recruiting psychologists, LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs with excellent clinical skills and a past record of success in the field. We are also recruiting therapists for adults of all ages, couples, and families. Candidates MUST BE LICENSED IN PENNSYLVANIA.
SRI boasts a caring and competent scheduling team, insurance, and billing department. We handle all the technicalities so you can focus solely on treatment!
Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients and identifying their problems.
- Engaging in discussion with patients and making them feel comfortable.
- Implementing individualized treatment programs.
- Evaluating patient responses to treatment over time.
- Organizing a long-term counseling plan that involves multiple visits.
- Keeping a detailed account of the patient's mental health history.
- Being patient and building relationships based on trust.
- Educating patients about appropriate coping mechanisms to help them through tough situations.
- Recording the patient’s progress and changing their treatment plan when needed.
Requirements:
- A current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude to empathize with clients.
- Good time management skills.
- Proven experience in developing effective treatment plans.
