This position is being recruited under Section 1107 of the NDAA Year 2016 (Public Law 114-92) in the new Cyber Excepted Service (CES). Positions in the cyber excepted service are positions necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the United States Cyber Command. This position in the excepted service does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the competitive service.
Serving as the primary administrative support for the entire Strategy and Plans Directorate.
Operating at the action officer level providing direction, assistance, and support for all administrative operations and activities of the Directorate.
Preparing a variety of special administrative reports, researching regulations, policies, and standards to develop appropriate information for the Director, and conducting management studies and surveys.
Managing, maintaining, and archiving all directorate records, files, publications, and reports and developing and maintaining central filing system.
Providing administrative and technical support for directorate programs including travel and transportation, training, time and attendance, records, space management, brief preparation, correspondence preparation and review, and reports control.
Maintaining the Strategy and Plans Directorate calendar for the Director exercising exclusive control with complete authority for commitment of time, i.e. scheduling appointments, ceremonial occasions, and conferences without prior approval.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Specialized experience is defined as experience with MS Office and Defense Travel System (DTS) and advising on administrative and personnel programs.

This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination

A three year probationary period is required.
