Essential Job Functions:
Oversees Daily Warehouse Operations, directs staff, manages training, monitors’ performance and works for improvement. Interfaces with management and quality manager to ensure processes and procedures are being followed, goals and objectives are being met and customers being supported. Assists on an as needed basis in general warehouse roles including cable processing, order picking, order packing, small parcel shipping, truck shipping, receiving, put away, and cycle counting.
- Manages priorities and resolves issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.
- Display a strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Engage in work with a high sense of urgency and be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
Shift: 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:
- An associate degree or some completed course work from, an accredited four-year college or university is preferred, and one to two years of related work experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- This position requires a working knowledge of, and an ability to operate, warehouse equipment including forklift, re-roll equipment, and office equipment including personal computers and software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- This position requires; people skills, a strong goal orientation, superior time management skills and work ethic, and an ability to direct staff and work cohesively with peers.
