We are looking for a hard working individual with exceptional attention to detail to add to our team at Boyce and Bynum for the Lab Tech III position in the Core Lab department primarily as a Cobas operator.

Hours are: Three - 12 hour shifts, alternating weeks: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, one week; Sunday, Monday,Tuesday, the next week, 6:00pm - 6:30am, with a rotation of weekends.

Job Duties:
Performs tests accurately and timely according to the standard operating procedure, in the primary Core Laboratory areas of chemistry and hematology. Includes QC, specimen processing, etc.
Communicates with clients and other laboratory departments.
Assists in maintaining quality control and quality assurance to meet the laboratory standards.
Assists in troubleshooting and routine preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Participates in the maintenance of laboratory supplies and reagents.
Complies with the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Follows departmental policies and procedures as required.
Communicates with the Supervisor immediately any information regarding technical or supply problems, patient specimen problems or unusual conditions, or client problems.
Performs other related duties as assigned in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department and laboratory.
A qualified candidate will have experience with the following:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biology
Critical thinking skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as a team player
