Job Description:
Level 1-Under frequent supervision, employee operates pre-setup runs on punch press, utilizes notcher, hand tools, rotex etc. Checks own work for conformance to specifications. Requires use of calipers and some measuring equipment. Level II-Under general supervision, employee performs set-ups and operates a punch press using all types of dies; compound, progressive, draw, etc. Utilizes notcher, hand tools and operation of spot welder to all applicable specifications. Checks own work for conformance to specifications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Checks parts to maintain quality production.

Level II:

Performs set-ups and operates a punch press utilizing all types of dies, compound, progressive, draw, etc.

Adjusts shut height required to hold close tolerances and dimensions.

Utilizes notcher, hand tools, and operation of spot welder to all applicable specifications.

Checks parts utilizing standard measuring equipment.

Performs regular manual tasks.

Insures that output normally equals or exceeds that expected.

Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work.

Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards.

Accomplishes production quotas.

Working consistently, working overtime, and traveling as required.

Skills and Requirements:

Applicant must be ITAR compliant.

Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of punch press machining including set-ups as required;
-
Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently preform pre-setups or set-ups on punch press machine;

Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English

Ability to work with a number sequence;
-
Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions;

Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability
