Full Job Description
Under the limited supervision of the Director of Affiliation Operations in collaboration with the Director of Marketing Campaigns, the MUSC Health Affiliation Liaison & Marketing Coordinator will help to manage relationships, engage the local community to promote the affiliation between MUSC Health and Hampton Regional Medical Center (HRMC) including telehealth, develop paid and nonpaid marketing strategies to achieve key performance indicators through data-driven planning, content management and social monitoring/engagement to communicate and promote the strategic initiatives between MUSC Health and HRMC. The Coordinator plans, develops and implements marketing campaigns, including digital media, coordinating efforts to maximize campaign goals and objectives and manages HRMC media platforms. The Coordinator will have working knowledge of the telehealth platforms and services and will promote the use of tele services internally to HRMC staff and externally to the broader community. The Coordinator will act as a liaison between MUSC and HRMC and with the MUSC Telehealth HRMC Outreach Coordinator to optimize the use of available tele resources at HRMC.
Minimum Training and Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; Business, Marketing, Communications or other related fields required and relevant master’s degree preferred. Two (2) years of work experience and/or services in a healthcare environment required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to establish and enforce deadlines and ability to work independently and also to collaborate effectively with others required. Must possess the ability to translate visionary concepts into well-defined goals, timelines, and expected outcomes. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) essential. Experience in project management and a detailed knowledge of Integrated Health Systems, particularly academic medical centers, is preferred. Knowledge of telehealth preferred. Experience working with healthcare information technology preferred. Experience using CRM platforms preferred. Demonstrated experience or application of Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) standards, data privacy best practices and laws (including HIPAA, FERPA),and landing page optimization and multivariate testing; familiarity and awareness of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) best practices, MOZ, SEO/SEM tools and best practices all preferred
