We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Customer Success Team. You'll be part of a fast-growing, customer facing team that works to uncover data-driven people insights by leveraging our Humanyze Badge and Digital Platforms. You will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders throughout the globe to identify hidden value within their teams. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, consulting, analytic and storytelling skill.
This is a full-time role based in Houston, Texas.
Communicate with customers to identify questions and hypotheses by gathering business requirements
Collect, manage, and fulfill assigned report requests from Humanyze customer(s)
Evaluate data and report findings for accuracy, completeness, intent, and scope, etc.
Work with different departments (Engineering, Customer Success, Analytics) to obtain and validate information
Ability to query large internal and external data-sets using various programming languages while closely monitoring outputs for quality and correctness
Development and maintenance of project documentation
Pro-actively identify system issues and needs for continuous improvement in business processes and reporting
Assist in day-to-day project management activities by participating in scrum stand ups
BA/BS degree in a field that emphasizes analyzing, displaying, or reporting on quantitative data (e.g. computer science, engineering, economics, business, statistics, psychology, or other quantitative social science)
Working knowledge of Python or SQL to analyze large datasets with a proven ability to validate and audit data and reports from multiple systems
Experience using data visualization principles, and manipulating and analyzing large data sets in Excel
Organized and detail oriented
Strong team-player: You work well in a multi-disciplinary team
Strong communicator, written and verbal: You effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate insights to others
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Background or experience in organizational behavior, management consulting, or similar
Experience engaging with enterprise-level customers and stakeholders
Oil and Gas industry experience
