I. Job Summary: The position involves operating a heavy-duty truck for waste management assigned tasks on transfer routes.
- Monday to Friday, starting around 5:30-6:20am.
- Saturday work is normally available for those who want to work and have the hours.
II. Key Responsibilities: The driver must be able to perform critical duties and other minor duties as assigned. They must follow regulations and expectations related to safety and maintenance of the vehicle, perform inspections, report hazardous situations, attend meetings and trainings, work with the Route Manager to enhance route efficiency, assist other drivers, report incidents and issues, communicate with Dispatch or Route Manager regarding customer requests or problems, empty containers, position containers appropriately, and complete documentation at the end of the route.
III. Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of the requirements necessary to perform the job.
- No previous CDL is required! We accept drivers with their permits and will work on their CDLs through our training center.
- Having a Commercial Drivers License B (CDL) is a plus, as well as having experience with waste collection and disposal vehicles and Air brake endorsement.
- The candidates must be 18 years old +.
- Satisfactorily pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, including previous employment check and motor vehicle record review. Acceptable driving record required.

- The payment is based on experience.
We do offer overtime as we expect the amount of weekly hours to be between 55 and 65.
