Job Summary

Roberts Civil Engineering is seeking two highly energetic, motivated, team players as Civil Engineering Project Managers for the Civil Engineering Design division of the company. One position is for the Savannah office and one position is for the St. Simons Island office. The ideal candidates will have experience in land development, water and sewer projects, stormwater management, erosion control, parking lots, and road design. These positions will be responsible for designing and producing plans for a wide range of land development projects including commercial sites, subdivisions, apartment buildings, roads, and more. The positions will be the main contact for a group of clients and will ensure that the company’s high standards are met and clients are satisfied with our service.


These positions will write proposals, identify key permit milestones, design key infrastructure, oversee plan production, coordinate with review authorities, and coordinate with clients. These responsibilities allow the job to have a combination of work inside of the office and outside of the office.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 5 years’ experience in engineering design
  • Experience using AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D would be a plus)
  • Experience in land/site development design and permitting
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation Package

  • $65,000 to $80,000 salary range
  • $5,000 to $30,000 Bonus Program based on performance
  • Additional 25% contributed by employer to Employees' Retirement Plan after 3 years of employment
  • Gold Level Company Health Insurance (portion paid by employer)
