Under the general direction of the Office Manager and Clinical Leadership of Associate Director, Dental Residence Program, supports the residents/dentists with the clinical care of patients and supports overall office functions.
2 years of Dental Assistant experience strongly preferred.
Experience with medical/dental clinical software strongly preferred.
Familiarity with medical/dental terminology helpful.
Completion of a Dental Assistant program or equivalent.
Certificate of Dental Assisting.
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Dental Radiology Certficate.
Good guest relation skills.
Good organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
Professional apprearance and demeanor.
Conditions of Employment:
Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
