As the state’s largest private employer and health system, Banner Health strives to deliver care where it’s needed. With more than 80,000 members in our Banner Health Network that live in the Southeast Valley, a new hospital was needed to provide members services closer to home.
Construction has begun on the new Banner Ocotillo Medical Center, scheduled to open fall of 2020. Situated on an18-acre campus, located on the southeast corner of Alma School Road and Loop 202 Santan Freeway, next to the existing Banner Health Center in Chandler, AZ. The new hospital will help address the healthcare needs of area residents, including those who reside in Ahwatukee, Chandler and Gilbert areas.
The four story, 245,000 square foot comprehensive medical care center, will open with approximately 96 beds, (with room for expansion as the community needs require more services), while providing imaging, surgery, labor and delivery, intensive care and an emergency room.
