Bering Straits Logistics Services, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Material Management Manager in Lexington, KY.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee duties completed by the department staff.
Administer Maximo and web reports.
Manage inventory by conducting cyclic inventories monthly.
Assign MCN to new items per Army Regulation and Customer requirement on NGB.
Work with NGB on getting SLAMIS numbers requested and assigned for units’ property books.
Update catalog in NGB website.
Prepare temp load of equipment to Teams.
Maintain spreadsheet for R&A briefing and transfer to PowerPoint slides for briefings.
Manage ASL replenishment quantities.
Update hand receipt for property items assigned to personnel in the MMO Department.
Responsible for conducting the ASL Review quarterly for customer approval of stockage in the warehouse of the units.
Prepare briefings for government customer.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Associates Degree or certification in related inventory management or warehouse field or five (5) years’ related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Army regulations.
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
Basic analytical and problem solving skills.
Must have or be able to obtain and keep Security Clearance.
Knowledge of inventory management.
Ability to handle multiple work assignments.
Experience with Maximo inventory
Experience with Army regulations

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
