What you’ll be doing...
The Technology Partnerships Organization is responsible for amalgamating all Technology and Innovation Concepts by working with internal Technical teams and with existing and new Verizon Partners. The role will lead the design and project management of work streams that make up an end to end solution for our partners and clients, through flawless execution.
As the Project Manager of Technology Partnerships, you will work closely with all cross-functional teams and LOBs to ensure successful execution and delivery of end to end strategic POC solutions for 4G and 5G in Retail, Sports, Hospitality, Smart Cities/Communities, IOT and other emerging spaces. The focus on this job will be to partner with our internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring that we understand the client needs and technology requirements in order to deliver an innovative customer experience. The PM will interface with the client and vendors ensuring that all open items are addressed, meetings are scheduled and facilitated and action items tracked and worked accordingly to meet project delivery dates. You will be responsible for delivering technology solutions on-time within scope and budget through risk, issue and resource management.
What we’re looking for...
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have…
Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Engineering related fields of study
PMP Certification (preferred).
5+ years total experience in a Technical Role (Product Management, Project Management, Product Strategy, E2E Development Lead, or Product Realization).
POC responsible for establishing Project Teams and partner with internal resources and third parties/vendors across organizations to complete all project requirements and deliverables including the successful identification, integration, tracking, and management from project initiation through execution.
Ability to work with the GTM teams to develop marketing plans across LOBs, ensuring integration of Marketing plans and deliverables.
Ensure all initiatives are delivered on-time within scope and budget through risk/mitigation, issue and resource management.
Develop and provide weekly dashboard of project status, deliverables and key milestones.
Strong collaboration skills excellent written and verbal communication to clearly and regularly communicate status, issues and to clearly identify risks and mitigation plans to all stakeholders.
Wireless background with experience in early staging or new product development for new technology products will be helpful.
Experience managing/working with large cross-functional teams.
Ability to quickly resolve complex problems and identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action to keep program schedules on track.
