Associate Project Manager

Enterprise Knowledge (EK) is hiring for a full-time Associate Project Manager to join our growing Knowledge Management Consulting Practice. This individual will support EK staff by managing software development projects for a range of commercial and federal clients.

As with all of our positions, we are seeking independent thinkers with creative problem solving skills. The Associate Project Manager may be called upon to fulfil the Scrum Master role for some software development projects, enabling the success of the technical delivery team as well as knowledge management subject matter experts who will refine and communicate business objectives for the technical products.

  • Put people over process and create clear, straightforward project plans
  • Cut out bureaucracy whenever possible, and put effort towards activities which maximize project outcomes
  • Actively lead project teams to success by providing clear expectations and priorities
  • Clearly define and communicate project scope to all stakeholders
  • Clearly define and communicate project vision and task requirements to all stakeholders
  • Effectively adapt and respond to changing stakeholder priorities
  • Deliver projects and products which exceed client expectations within project budget

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience managing technical delivery projects
  • Task management
  • Task prioritization
  • EK does business with the federal government, which restricts employment to individuals who are either US citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) certification
  • Experience working with Agile teams
  • Talent management
  • Team leadership
