PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The IAM team is completely modernizing the identity landscape as a cornerstone for Lowe’s security posture. The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting Identity and Access Management services specially in the Privilege Access Management (PAM) space.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide enterprise-wide, risk-based security and continuity capabilities to meet changing internal and external threat landscapes. This includes leveraging strong development skills to not only support the enterprise PAM solution but also extend its current capabilities by implementing API and Microservices architecture in a Hybrid Cloud Environment.
Works in a team responsible for verifying and validating security compliance against corporate standards, regulatory and other industry defined policies.
Performs analysis of design specifications, design documentation, configuration practices, and operational practices and procedures.
Is familiar with networks, data analysis, system architectures, IT infrastructure design and documentation.
Work as an API technical expert with cross functional teams to develop technical solutions to solve complex business problems. Perform business requirement analysis and technical assessment to identify functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
Experience working with Microservices using Spring Boot, ReactJS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
Understanding and experience with security implementations (e.g. SSL/mutual SSL, PKI strategies, SAML, OAuth, CA IDM/IAM, WS-Auth).
Identify opportunities for efficiencies and automation in the current environment.
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products.
Understanding of deploying Identity and Access Management in cloud environments, Azure, AWS etc. and integrating with cloud native technologies.
Experience with Unix and Windows scripting.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
H.S. Diploma in General Studies with 6+ years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4 years of experience.
2+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Ability to work in a team environment and work independently with little supervision or direction.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with Privileged Access Management technologies like Centrify, CA (Broadcom) PAM, CyberArk, BeyondTrust is a plus.
Understanding of Common IAM technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID, and SCIM.
Familiarity with tools like Splunk, PowerBI Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins.
Experience with LDAP/X.500-based implementations and Unix/AD bridging
Industry certifications like CompTIA Sec+, CISSP and Network certifications.
Experienced in implementing applications and services using Spring Boot & other Java related technologies with CI/CD tool like Jenkins/Bamboo, SonarQube, Bitbucket/Dimension.
Working experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Microsoft Active Directory (AD), and CA Directory.
Experience with automated delivery pipelines, agile delivery, and test-driven development is preferred.
