Senior Bookkeeper

Pacific Crest Real Estate - Seattle, WA


Pacific Crest Real Estate is seeking an individual with proven bookkeeping , accounting and leadership skills to join our bookkeeping team. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00 (40 hours).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintaining books for multiple projects
Perform full cycle accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties
Accounts payable and receivable
Cash flow management
Bank account reconciliation
Preparation of monthly financial reports
Supervise the work of bookkeeping team
Provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness

The successful applicant shall possess the following skills and requirements:

5+ years experience in bookkeeping/accounting in a property management setting
5+ years experience managing employees
Knowledge of cash and accrual basis accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Firm understanding of property management accounting software programs, Realpage and/or Appfolio a plus
Excellent judgment in prioritizing and managing projects and deadlines
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently and as a team player
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred


Salary: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year DOE
