What you will do:

Material Planning Tasks:

  • Ensure customer safety stocks
  • Assist with stock management
  • Production planning of finished products
  • Production planning of semi-finished products according to forecast
  • Subcontractor support in production planning, product shipment and material supply
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement process
  • Contribution to internal projects
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels for product by reviewing the order suggestion report, placing orders accordingly, and changing delivery dates and quantities as needed
  • Track shipment costs and record (inbound and outbound)
  • International Shipments (inbound and outbound)
  • Classifying material with HTS codes
  • Communication with US Customs
  • Processing with DB Schenker

Buying Tasks:

  • Serial Purchasing
  • Supply Chain Monitoring and weak-signals management
  • Frame ordering
  • Active management of necessary extra-transportation
  • Forecast discussion with supplier
  • Work on proper sourcing strategies together with Strategic Purchasing
  • Ongoing material master update in ERP system
  • Supplier Assessment
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Play an active part within the Sourcing Group

What we expect:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, and/or relatable experience
  • In-depth demand planning experience
  • Production order processing knowledge and experience
  • Experience with international shipping
  • Computer literate in MS Office suite
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Dynamics AX software
  • Experience working with an international team

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
