The Business Analyst III serves as the primary point of engagement for business clients as they engage with CPS IT on developing and maintaining business applications. This roles provides end-to-end initiative and Program Management for client-facing programs and projects by leading and/or providing oversight for a portfolio of projects that deliver value against specific business objectives. This role is also accountable for Service Management for business applications supporting a part of or the entirety of a functional client area and/or geographical operation. The business analyst will serve as a strategic IT consultant to the business supporting key clients within CPS Supply Chain, Finance, HR, QA & Manufacturing. Project delivery and ongoing service operations will be done in close partnership with CPS Corporate Client Engagement, key vendors and our Global Development and Technology teams.

Function Specific Activities:

Duties

Provides strategic planning to support future business growth. Set direction & strategy to the CPS ERP Business Applications Team, and, determine & allocate resources to achieve the goals
Provide management of a virtual support and consulting organization to ensure successful delivery and stable operations of business applications. Develops plans to ensure that the team has the right skills and competencies to enable them achieve the business strategies and goals.
Accountable for team results and alignment of the team's objectives with Global CPS objectives and Business Plan - Key results: Client partner satisfaction, Effective Demand Planning, World Class Program & Project Execution, Efficient Delivery of Services (Quality, Value for money), Efficient and Effective Solution Delivery Process, Promote Continuous Improvement
Prepares and controls operating expense budgets and capital plans within appropriate Chart of Authority levels
Build close partnerships with CPS Corporate Client Engagement, regional CPS ERP Applications teams and Global IT to ensure Project delivery and ongoing service operations.
Engage with leadership teams in CPS & GBS facilities to identify and run exploitation programs
Responsibility for compliance with Information Risk management procedures including IT audit requirements, Disaster Recovery Procedure and IT Business Continuity Plan, Information Protection Policy communication.

Experience

Collaborate with business partners, CPS IT and global IT to prioritize business projects and refine the implementation roadmap.

Drives the execution and implementation of approved CPS projects within area of responsibility, ensuring business value extracted and business case objectives have been delivered. Ensures appropriate resources are available, working with dependant projects, CPS Corporate Client Engagement and GIT.
Involvement is required on the CPS ABP as well as the IT ABP. From a capital planning perspective, the BSM has responsibility to provide input to the IT capital plan. From an IT ABP perspective, the BSM must align with the different IT teams to help develop a long term framework and roadmap.
Key to this role is the requirement to manage a wide range of potential issues and be able to make appropriate decisions in a timely way.
On the BP execution, it is core for the BSM to be accountable for the IT project delivery (engagement, escalation, etc.), and also on the BP tracking success metrics.
