Duties:
- Uphold Autism Solutions Academy’s approach in prioritizing individualized, hands-on, and engaging curriculum
- Create lesson plans for all assigned curriculum
- Engage in monthly data collection for all students
- Create yearly learning plans
- Manage classroom behavior management systems
- Implement the behavior plan in class as prescribed by the Supervisor
- Maintain classroom daily schedule
- Create and clearly communicate classroom routines and policies
- Communicate academic information professionally with student caregivers
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities
Requirements:
- Associates Degree + 3 Years of Teaching Experience, or Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
