JOB TITLE: Sr. EpicCare Ambulatory Application Analyst (EPIC/EHR) / Job #: 24854
SUMMARY: Implements, supports and maintains Epic clinical and/or financial applications.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience: Six years (6) Information Technology experience within a multi-entity, healthcare environment.
Required Licenses/Certifications: Current Epic certification in EpicCare Ambulatory or Order Entry and E-Prescribing or attainment of Epic certification within six months of employment.
Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Information Technology
Preferred Experience: Prior Epic implementation experience using EpicCare Ambulatory or Order Entry and E-Prescribing; experience with clinical applications in either inpatient or outpatient setting; experience with revenue cycle applications or patient access services.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
The Sr. EpicCare Ambulatory Applications Analyst can also have experience with Order Entry, or E-Prescribing. Application Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the design and build of the Epic (EMR/EHR) EpicCare Ambulatory or Order Entry application. You are primarily responsible for the overall build of the workflows, system configurations, change documentation, optimization, upgrade and support of operations for the application.
The preferred and most successful candidate would be someone who:
is previously skilled in full cycle implementation using EPIC (EHR/EMR) EpicCare Ambulatory, and/or Order Entry and E-Prescribing modules.
has experience which includes requirements gathering, project planning, system build, optimization, designing & building, risk assessment, testing, conversion to successful production.
has previously earned certified in an EPIC (EMR/EHR) EpicCare Ambulatory and/or Order Entry, and E-Prescribing modules.
