The Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and management of the CFCE Program, which includes the Parent Child Home Program (PCHP), in accordance of grant proposal.
The Coordinator will ensure achievement of the program five main goals:
Increase knowledge of and accessibility to high-quality early education and care programs and services for families with children prenatal through school-age.
Promote parent education, family engagement and early literacy.
Facilitate collaboration and community planning between local early education and care partners and other community stake holders, including parents.
Provide support and information to families with children transitioning between and among early education and care settings, home and school, and
Support early education and care programs across the public and private sectors in delivering high-quality services.
Leadership and Management:
Management and oversight of the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Program, inclusive of the Parent Child Home Program.
Plan, implement and evaluate the goals and activities for CFCE state grant.
Facilitate the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate playgroups, ensuring the delivery of high quality programming, providing inclusive learning experiences for children and families in Lawrence, Methuen, Andover and North Andover.
Identify children developmental needs and collaborate with community organizations to ensure those needs are met.
Conduct and facilitate CFCE advisory board meetings.
In Collaboration with the Division Director, continuously review and evaluate the programs successes, challenges, in order to determine plan of action to ensure fulfillment of the grant.
Develop and maintain systems that track a range of data outcomes including: participants, referrals, activities, volunteer/in-kind hours, etc., to ensure accurate reporting.
Monitor CFCE budget to assure allowable expenses in each line item.
Plan and complete annual Grant application in collaboration with Division Director.
Monitor contracts and order supplies for the program.
Complete and submit all fiscal documentation to Finance Department.
Work with Planning and Development Department to seek future funding.
Supervise and provide support to CFCE and PCHP staff to assure achievement of program goals.
Conduct regular supervision inclusive of professional development for all staff.
Collaboration, Resource and Referral:
Provide parents with resources and referrals when necessary.
Outreach to at risk and hard to reach families to foster literacy development.
Work in collaboration with external partners/stakeholders within the Greater Lawrence community to promote the mission of the program.
Work on outreach to community service providers seeking new partnerships.
Other duties as assigned by the Division Director of Early Learning or Executive Director.
