Under general supervision of the Human Resources Manager and direction from the Vice President, Human Resources the HR Generalist will administer processes, lead project implementation efforts, provide support to the Human Resources Department and employees in all Human Resources functions including but not limited to: Compliance, Benefits Administration, Retention, Development and Training, Immigration, Employee Relations.? Build relationships with VIP management and employees.? Coordinate with other members of the Human Resources Department
Assist in managing Company compliance with all State and Federal regulations, including but not limited to discrimination, FMLA, CFRA and PDL.? Manage employee LOA requests including negative PTO and LWOP.?
Assist in enterprise OFCCP compliance efforts.?
Manage cyclical projects including but not limited to annual performance appraisal process, compensation analysis, EEO reporting and OSHA reporting.?
Maintain department matrixes and tracking spreadsheets as requested.?
Partner with senior members of the Human Resources Department to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, prepare appropriate documentation.? Review counseling documents with applicable manager and provide input regarding appropriate action.? Ensure documentation is executed and maintained.?
Prepare Offer Summaries and Employment Agreements per defined process; initiate background check and monitor results to ensure Company standards for employment eligibility are met.?
Conduct new hire orientations; audit new hire paperwork; follow-up with employee for all missing documents.? Follow-up with others regarding action items including but not limited to, payroll, receptionist, IT, etc.? Conduct benefit meetings for new hires and act as on-going resource.?
Act as a resource to employees during benefit enrollment using the online enrollment management system; act as a liaison between employees and benefit broker as appropriate for policy specific questions, claims related issues, etc.?
Manage termination process.? Prepare separation paperwork, communicate to all necessary parties as per defined process.?
Create and maintain personnel files and department filing to the VIP HR department filing standards and in compliance with all state and federal requirements.?
Maintain employee data in various databases.?
Act as a resource to employees regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.? Respond to inquiries to general HR email/?fax.? Partner with senior members of the Human Resources team as necessary.?
Act as project lead for ad hoc Human Resources projects.?
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor Recruiting activitiy for OFCCP compliance.?
Assist in administration/?management of EE immigration needs.
? Create department/?company memos and announcements.?
Develop and update HR policies and procedures.?
Develop/?maintain Company training manual and program.?
Assist in company-wide training, tracking and certification.?Make recommendations and suggestions for improvement.?
Participate in training events and department meetings.?
Develop forms for Human Resources Department.?Provide general administrative support to Human Resources Department.?

Other duties as assigned
1-3 years of HR generalist experience or 5 years direct HR generalist experience.?
Experience managing and administering various health, welfare, and retirement plans.?
Intermediate to senior level proficiency in HRIS and proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, specifically with MS Excel functions as used for benefits audits and analysis.? Knowledge of federal and state employment law.?Excellent written and verbal communication skills.?

? Prior experience as HR Generalist working in a highly nuanced environment that has grown due to acquisition.?
Prior experience evaluating and analyzing Human Resources systems and software.?
Prior experience modifying existing Human Resources systems and software.?SharePoint administration experience.
