The ideal candidate must be interested in providing quality visual assets for our clients that fit their branding and provide for an exceptional consumer experience. The Part-time Graphic Designer will work with closely with the SML Account Management team to ensure that all processes are fully understood to deliver the best possible visual assets for our clients. This role reports to SML's Graphic Designer.
Approximately 15-20 hours Monday-Friday.
Develop campaign assets using brand provided logos, images, style guides and direction from the SML Account Team
Obtains approval of concept by submitting layout for approval to SML Account Team
Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
Coordinate with printing vendor to have approved assets printed
Create end of campaign infographic with direction from SML Account Team
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Bachelor’s Degree or pursuing one in Graphic and/or Communication Design, Marketing or related discipline
Adobe Creative Cloud software
Proficient with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with layout, web and print design and multimedia presentation
Knowledge of current trends in typography and design
Adaptive design eye and skill
Excellent communication skills
Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
Must be a self-starter and comfortable working independently
Ability to manage timelines and expectations both internally and externally
Attention to Detail
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, work flawlessly under tight deadlines, and prioritize across several simultaneous projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong ethic of teamwork and collaboration
