We are looking to make a key hire to join our team in the role of Financial Reporting Staff Accountant. The Financial Reporting Staff Accountant plays an integral role in Financial Reporting’s recurring financial reporting process by providing support in the areas of financial report preparation and compliance. They will prepare and analyze financial reports, assist external auditors, and complete recurring monthly financial reporting deliverables, quarter-end tasks, and other projects as assigned by management.
Analyze, design and develop reporting to meet the needs of the finance department
Develop new reporting and modify existing reporting to support business needs.
Assist with the detailed review of monthly reconciliations, schedules, and journal entries
Prepare monthly consolidation of financial results including variance analysis
Supports business decisions with financial information and analysis
Responsible for all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual external and internal reporting requirements
BS in Accounting or Finance required
3+ years of related financial reporting and systems experience
Experience with ERP and reporting systems preferred
Public accounting experience is preferred, CPA preferred
Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, general ledger accounting
