We are the Mobile Analytics team at SAP. We are a passionate group of developers focusing on crafting the best mobile experiences for large analytics solutions. As a member of the SAP Mobile Analytics team, you will be responsible for building strong testing tools and processes that are critical to our success in the business intelligence and analytic visualization field. Our applications have been featured in Apple television ads, won “App of the Year” awards, and have been featured in iTunes Essentials collection.


Ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards set forth by the team.
Analyze, define, implement and execute quality and test related activities like functional UI testing, RESTful API testing, regression testing and performance testing for mobile and web products
Sign-off and support software deployments to cloud environments
Improve the overall productivity of the product development team by:
being an advocate for QA best practices within the engineering team
driving innovation in the product delivery process
implementing automated processes and testing strategies where possible
Work in a scrum environment, triage bugs, review stories for prioritization and create/update test cases as required
Have a thorough understanding of the products in order to produce real-world test cases and use cases
Coordinate efforts and communication with the developers and other team members to ensure resolution of defects, and manage (triage) defects in the bug tracking system that are identified
Direct activities for offshore team resources for feature and regression testing efforts

Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS, Android, Windows), enterprise business software, and consumer-grade web software
Ability to collaborate well with others and communicate best testing practices to the rest of the engineering team
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly dynamic environment
Ability to develop applicable test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts
Team player who exhibits effective interpersonal skills with a collaborative style

Bonus Points for:
Experience testing Cloud / Software-as-a-Service products
Experience with Continuous Integration tools (i.e. Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.)
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (i.e. SAP Business Objects, Cognos, Sharepoint, etc.)
Experience with major automated testing systems and services-tell us what you have used, why you used it, and whether you would use it again
Familiarity with source control systems (e.g. Git or SVN).
Familiarity with iterative software development approaches (i.e. Agile).
Experience with data visualization or analytics
Degree in Computer Science, or other technical field
