WFS is hiring for our School Based Partial Program. This is a 10 month academic calendar position, paid through the summer, salary, non-exempt position. Eligible for overtime, weekends and holidays off. Hours: 7:45 am-3:15pm.

To provide the behavioral health services and interventions necessary to maximize the school experience and academic potential of designated students identified within an assigned program(s). Depending on Program assignment, this position may include providing Brief Treatment/Outpatient during the school day with the possibility of continuing into non-traditional school days or hours as needed to fulfill prescribed therapy hours.

Minimum Qualifications


Master’s degree from an accredited university in social work, psychology, child development, psychiatric nursing, or related field.


  • Three years’ experience in a child/adolescent behavioral health program.
  • School based partial hospitalization program experience is preferred
  • Safe physical management training experience is preferred.
  • Provider credentialing preferred (e.g. Highmark or UPMC Health Plan); required for some programsLicenses, Certifications & ClearancesLicense Eligibility preferred (LSW, LCSW, or LPC)Valid PA drivers’ license

  • Knowledge and understanding of best practice standards
  • Ability to assess student needs and implement best practice standards through individual, family and group therapy
  • Strong, professional communication skills to interface with various school district staff and to provide training/consultations as needed.
  • Ability to work some non-traditional, after-school hours or summer hours
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to execute physical management interventions
  • Ability to exhibit cultural sensitivity and to contribute to a work environment where diversity is welcomed and supported
