Bliss Lawyers is seeking a data protection and privacy attorney with experience with GDPR data processing agreements controller-to-processor and controller-to-controller to work for a media company. The ideal candidate will be based in the Tri-State area and will work at the company's NYC office (possibility to work remotely after a few weeks). Fully remote candidates will be entertained as well. Qualified candidates will have at least three years of experience with data protection and privacy matters. Substantial experience with GDPR data processing agreements controller-to-processor and controller-to-controller matters is required. The lawyer hired for this role will review, negotiate and resolve data processing agreements and amendments to ensure compliance with data protection and GDPR. Admission to the state bar in which the candidate is located is required. This is a full-time (50 hours per week), temporary role that is expected to last for two to three months and may extend. Interviews will begin as soon as qualified candidates are identified and the role will start as soon as the right candidate is selected.
