Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Principal Power BI Developer Hybrid based in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Power BI Report development to translate business needs to technical specifications
Building Analysis Services reporting models
Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence
Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
Making DAX queries in Power BI desktop
Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set
Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries
Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred. Work experience or industry certifications demonstrating technical proficiency may be substituted for education requirements
7+ years of relevant experience
Minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND, SSCP)
DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams
Knowledge in Microsoft BI stack
Agile development experience with Scrum and Kanban
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience as a BI developer or data scientist
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the past 6 years. Candidate must be open to CI poly.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75%
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office.
The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity devices
