At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.
The analyst will support Initial Operating Capability (IOC) by assisting with the tracking and investigation of issues and remediation of defects as needed.
The analyst will support release preparation activities, to include coordination with Government Project Managers to ensure requirements are satisfied, deployment schedules finalized and site logistics.
The analyst will support the development and maintenance of required project data and documents, and briefings to satisfy client release management guidelines, requirements and templates.
The analyst will develop and maintain documents and artifacts such as version documents, production operation manuals, installation guides, rollback guides, user guides and entry and exit criteria guidelines, deployment plans, release documents and artifacts, RACI etc.
For this position experience and knowledge of Healthcare and the Department of Veterans Affairs is preferred.
The analyst will be required to learn various software tools including Rational Team Concert (RTC) and Quality Manager.
The analyst is preferred to have Agile development experience.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
10 years and BA degree in computer science/other tech discipline is required.
Experience in technical writing (Mandatory).
Experience in Agile operations/release management and software deployment process (Mandatory).
Rational Tools Concert software experience (Preferred.
Healthcare and/or VA experience (Preferred).
A PMO/Deployment Documentation Analyst must have experience with technical writing and supporting the deployment process of software applications/systems.
We are looking for an analyst with excellent written and verbal communication skills who can work with key stakeholders/customers/developers/testers to provide documentation support for on-going continuous Agile rapid development with deployments to various environments (e.g., test, user acceptance test, pre-production, production).
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
