The ideal candidate has a passion for quality, following processes and a commitment to our customers. Will be responsible for performing day-to-day activities of the Quality Control functions, including inspection of incoming materials, manufacturing assemblies, kits and finished devices.
Let's talk about responsibilities:
Perform incoming receiving inspections on printed materials, components, assemblies and other materials by internal and external entities, using specifications provided by ResMed. Inspection includes visual, mechanical (using measurement gages such as calipers and micrometers), and electrical (using test meters, etc.)
Perform In-process and Final inspection on assemblies and finished devices during the manufacturing process.
Ability to troubleshoot.
Author and perform equipment qualifications (Installation, Operational, Performance), as required.
Complete appropriate paperwork related to inspection such as inspection records, non-conforming material forms, device history records, lot/traveler records, etc. All records must be filed in a timely and accurate manner
Develop Chemical/Component specifications as needed
Monitor QC and other test equipment and instruments to ensure proper operation and calibration.
Management of Equipment Tracking System : Coordinate calibration/PM of all test equipment and fixtures.
Perform chemical testing as required, using defined procedures.
Good written and verbal skills necessary for documentation and effective communication with customers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Assist in the control and maintenance of documents associated with Quality Control activities.
Let's talk about qualifications and experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of Inspection/Technician experience in an electro/mechanical environment.
Associates Degree (AA) in a Technical field preferred.
Experience with conducting product investigations to determine root cause required.
Must have experience working with drawings and blueprints to interpret inspection requirements.
Experience with the control of measurement and test equipment (calibration related experience preferred).
Strong attention to detail.
Experience in a regulated environment preferred.
Will work in a manufacturing/warehouse/production areas, with a desk and office space
Must be able to reach with hands and arms and talk and hear
Requires ability to stand for long periods of time; may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Individual must have correctable 20/20 vision
