Healthcare Pathway Coordinator/ Instructor( HPC)Salary: Wage $35 / hourPT - 24-29hrs/weekThis position is part of a team working toplan, develop, organize, implement, direct, andevaluate the Apprenticeship grant function and performance.Responsible for instruction, exams, and facility clinical site set up.The HPC isDirectly responsible for teaching course curriculum and for carrying out lessonplans, maintaining and reporting attendance, test scores, and competency records.Plans, develops, and designs health education and training programs, including preparation,facilitation, and follow-up.Evaluates programs; performs research on relevant topics, and/or presentation materials as appropriate.Presents lectures and training to groups and/or individuals, as appropriate.Coordinates the activities of consultants, agencies, and other providers involved in specificprogramming for this grant.Participates in the development of marketing and promotional goals and strategies, asappropriate.Responsible for delivering a quality educational experience for students.Ensures that all curriculum is up-to-date and effective instructional delivery methods areemployed.Ensuresstudents are treated in a fair and equitable manner aiding our students inachieving their goals.Enforce program policies and regulatory requirements by the State of Maine.Performs initial clinical site evaluations prior to student assignment.Qualifications: Maine NP/ RN License (active, current, and in good standing)Minimum 5 years of nursing experience: a minimum of 5 years experience in planning,implementing and teaching educational programs in nursing.Possess state certification to deliver PSS, CNA, and eligibility for additional healthcarerelated workforce certifications.Maintains confidential, accurate, and comprehensive records of students attendance andskills assessments.Strong cultural competency skills, including excellent ability to communicate with adiverse population.Ability to be self-directed, maintain a flexible schedule as needed, work in-personand remotely, and travel in-state
