Your Role:
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking to hire a Manager of Manager of Molecular Diagnostics, Cytogenetics and Reference Labs, whom will report to the Senior Director Operations, and whom will lead the clinical laboratory section(s) and/or laboratory support functions within the Diagnostic Laboratories of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

This position provides direction for the supervisors of the individual laboratories and serves as a key resource to integrate clinical activities and optimize patient care. With the lab leadership team, defines clinical performance standards and quality measures, monitors actual performance and when necessary identifies problems and initiates corrective actions. Position Qualifications

Medical Laboratory Technologist Tennessee Licensure If not currently licensed, must have national MLS (ASCP) Certification
Medical Laboratory Supervisor license in the state of Tennessee or eligibility to obtain
5 years relevant experience
Education, experience, certification and license should be applicable to the specialty area or department as generalist or categorical. 2) If categorical supervisor license, then employee can only have responsibility for the specific lab defined by the categorical license. 3) Medical Technologist Supervisor license is not required for Histology or Lab Client Services Team Leader positions.2) Proven ability to create cohesion with a engaged team of laboratory professionals
