We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate for a Paid Social and Digital Media Strategist position within our marketing division. We’re looking for an ambitious candidate who wants to work in an innovative and energetic environment. As a key member of the marketing team, the paid social and digital media specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing paid social and digital advertising strategies on various platforms. This role will also assist the marketing department in reporting, analysis and optimizations of all social, digital media and PPC campaigns. You’ll work alongside the Sr. Media Buyer and assist in managing projects and expectations using strong follow-up, analytical and organizational skills. This role involves managing ad campaigns, analyzing performance data, and making data-driven recommendations to achieve marketing objectives. You’ll work directly with the agency’s Google and Meta representatives to ensure campaigns are up-to-date on best practices and are optimized fully for success. The successful candidate must be willing to maintain the pace and attitude necessary in this agency to meet the demands of high-profile clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires being both a team player and having a can-do attitude. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Paid Media.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing and optimizing all Google/YouTube PPC campaigns (includes all performance-based and awareness-based campaigns including search, display, YouTube, and Performance Max)
- Managing and optimizing all Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat and Pinterest campaigns ensuring accurate targeting and budget control
- Managing and optimizing programmatic media campaigns with managed DSPs
- Monitor ad performance across all platforms and adjust bids, budgets and targeting as needed to maximize ROI
- Monthly digital media campaign performance reporting and analysis – utilizing Whatagraph (agency reporting tool)
- General website analytics reporting utilizing Google Analytics and Meta Ad Accounts reporting tools
- Generating and tracking specific UTMs within Google Analytics and Meta
- Pixel placements for media campaign tracking within Google Tag Manager and Meta (in addition to managing the implementation process with back-end client/ticketing partners)
- Participating in internal client strategy meetings
- Client facing meeting participation, reporting and recommendations
- Creating and issuing insertion orders in agency buying platform
- Monthly billing and budget reconciliation (traditional, digital and social media)
- Keep up to date with the latest social and digital media advertising trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to help implement innovative techniques and tactics to improve campaign performance.
Required Competencies:
- Proven success in managing paid social and digital media advertising campaigns including Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Proficiency in Google analytics and Facebook Ads Manager required (familiarity in other ad platforms is a plus)
- Experience managing large budgets is a must
- Creative thinking and a passion for staying updated with digital marketing trends
- Working knowledge of Excel for daily use in client work
- Managing all work with thoroughness, accuracy, and efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn agency software and platforms

Technical Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of working knowledge in the Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager platforms is a must. Additional experience in Google Analytics/GA4 and TikTok is a plus. Certification in Google Ads and Meta Blueprint is required within one month of start date. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Power Point, and Outlook calendar system is required.

Work Location: Kirvin Doak Communications provides a 50/50 hybrid in-office and remote work schedule. The specific days in office vs. work-from-home will be determined by your manager.
