CACI seeks a Platform Infrastructure Systems CACI seeks a Lead Enterprise Engineer with a background in DoD and IC, information technology and cloud architect that possess an active DoD Top Secret /SCI clearance with experience working in a Department of Defense environment. This is a senior level position responsible for technical delivery of multiple software capabilities and services, including integration and development of interfaces in support of data visualization.
Employ expertise in requirements analysis, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and diagnosis or resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience analyzing and architecting complex technical solutions, providing system assessments, gathering technical and business requirements, and implementing the systems architectures to support the requirements. The candidate will provide technical services as part of a Government /Contractor Joint team to support the vision for a platform to support the various stages of the software , systems and deployment lifecycles. This is a highly visible role with exposure to a wide range of stakeholders, which will require a combination of hard technical skills and soft people skills to have success. The Engineer will be responsible for design and implementation of global integrated solutions across multiple platforms. This position performs a variety of engineering activities related to the delivery of scalable, redundant, and secure solutions. Key technologies include Azure, Amazon Web Services, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows, RedHat Linux, Single Sign-on and Identity management systems. In addition, this role is responsible for researching and proposing new IT infrastructure solutions as the needs of the client’s organization change. This individual will also be acting as a point of escalation for incidents and problems related to the Linux and Windows-based architecture and related systems. This individual will also manage projects related to infrastructure solution delivery and will act as a resource for projects managed by others where those projects require infrastructure engineering expertise or consulting. The engineer will also be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure architectural standards for the client’s organization, ensuring that lifecycles are developed, standards are documented, and designs are holistic and comprehensive.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related academic focus area with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience, of which at least 3 plus years must be specialized in the design, development and implementation of IT systems.
Required Hands On Experience/Qualifications:
Conducted at least 2-3 system assessments for enterprise clients and developed detailed roadmaps and application architectures for implementation.
Define, develop and implements standards infrastructure solutions and technologies
Develop and implement policies based on industry best-practices
Perform regular compliance audits of systems to ensure conformity to standards and policies
Develop system lifecycle plans for all infrastructure solutions and components.
Expert knowledge of the IT systems development life cycle
Experience in the creation, deployment, and operation of IT systems
Experience creating an As-Is and To-Be architecture diagram
Experience in system design
Solid oral, written, and presentation skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to handle conflict resolution well, facilitating discussion and alternatives of different approaches.
Experience designing, architecting or assessing IT systems a plus.
Extensive experience with all network protocols and standards
Extensive experience with virtualized infrastructure (vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Amazon Web Services or Azure).
Experience with scripting using languages like Ancible, Bash, Powershell, Visual Basic Scripting, Ruby, or Python
Experience with common DevSecOps Tools and configuration tools including Chef, Puppet, Git, and Jenkins, etc
Experience working with Cloud solutions and vendor management
Experience with MS Active Directory /LDAP
Experience with SAN, NAS
Experience with desktop applications, LANs, WANs, SQL, web servers such as IIS, firewalls, and datacenter-class hardware, racks and cabling.
Experience with tactical and national level systems implementation, design and integration in a multi vendor and partner environment
Experience with C2S and other cloud implementations
Previous work experience in a DoD or IC environment with experience
