Provide platinum service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members and their guests. Always greet members and guests as soon as possible upon their arrival at the bag-drop or staging area.
Job Description Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):
Engage the membership and create a friendly and welcoming environment
Provide quality service to members and guests and conduct oneself in a professional manner
Maintain a professional image at all times
Maintain proper uniform attire at all times while on duty (includes wearing name badge)
Insure the proper, timely set up of the bag drop, staging areas and practice facilities according to established guideline for the day
Insure ANCC Golf facilities are maintained and kept in perfect order throughout the day’s activities.
Maintain a neat, tidy and well stocked area at all times.
Insure no member golfer is required to handle their clubs or equipment due to lack of staff attention or availability.
Observe proper procedures and take precautions to promote Safety first and to insure no injury to staff, members, equipment or property occur at any time due to negligence or oversite.
Coordinate all work activity through the Starter to insure proper staff allocation to meet member service requirements along with task completion.
Maintain radio contact with the Golf Shop, Starter and other outside service staff at all times.
Be informed on, and promote all Club activities and services.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Basic managerial skills strongly preferred. Must be able to provide necessary feedback to manager/supervisor. Employee must have strong interpersonal skills that allow him/her to engage the membership, manage situations involving conflict, and be able to complete responsibilities without direct supervision. Basic golf knowledge preferred. Computer and strong customer service skills required.

The employee is regularly required to lift/move up to 50lbs unassisted.
Employee is required to stand and reach with hands and arms and regularly use hands and fingers.
The position requires the employee to work outdoors for extended periods in seasonal conditions/temperatures normally associated with northern Virginia, or the Washington Metro area.
Requires employee to have vision acuity of not less than 20/20 after correction. If corrective lenses are required they must not interfere with ability to carry out ANY of the required functions of the position.
Must have ability to hear at a normal conversational level. If correction is required, it must not interfere with ability to carry out ANY of the required functions of the position.
The position requires the ability to speak clearly and to converse effectively in English.

EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE USED: Golf Cart, Range Picker, and Ball Washer.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years old to drive motor vehicles
(16 with valid license for carts). If driving company vehicles, must maintain acceptable driving record.
