Kiddie Academy of Reston is looking for a full-time prep cook for our preschool program. Hours for this position will be Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.

The Cook/Food Manager Position will be:
Responsible for the planning and preparation of snacks and meals. Ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Order and inventory all kitchen items.
* Ensure all health and safety standards are met
* Accept temporary assignments within the academy.
* Plan and prepare snacks and meals in accordance with posted menus and nutrition regulations.
* Determine meal and snack count and distributes food to each classroom.
* Removes trays and leftovers from classrooms and dispose accordingly.
* Perform weekly food and supply inventory; submit list of needed items to director.
* Check-in supply deliveries to ensure accuracy of order placed.
* Ensure that all state and local health department, licensing, safety and nutritional requirements are met.
* Follow standards of personal hygiene, safety, and sanitation and ensures that other staff in kitchen do the same.
