Job Summary

The VP of Operations will have direct P&L ownership of all valuation products / services. Responsible for operational oversight / performance of Appraisal, BPO & Alternative product fulfillment

Vendor Management
Quality Control
Risk & Compliance
Process engineer / implement workflow processes to meet client requirements and SLAs. Maintain high quality / accuracy of value while meeting state & federal regulations. Forward thinking innovator who can assist in new product development to meet market demands

Essential Job Functions

Describe the essential functions for which the Job is accountable. Essential Functions are those which are specific and unique to this position and when removed changes the nature of the job itself.

Manage expense control – staffing, vendor COGS, product margins
Maximize off shore resources for all high touch process burn
Work with technology team to automate workflow where available
Maintain efficient work flow processes that provides a quality product while remaining compliant
Enhance QC review process to improve accuracy & quality by leveraging MLS data & other analytics
Manage day to day performance metrics to ensure client SLA are being meet or exceeded
Maintain weekly / monthly performance cadence with all valuation clients
New valuation product development to meet market demands
Assist with business development to new clients – product advantages, technology demo

Educational / Experience Requirements

What level of education or specialized training is required to perform the job?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
List any special certifications, licenses, and/or knowledge requirements for this job:

Strong operational background in valuation services / products
Requires strong analytical skills - client reporting, vendor score cards, performance drivers
Comprehensive knowledge of workflow management processes
Previous experience with Appraisal / BPO fulfillment background
Fully knowledgeable of key quality control processes / requirements for both BPO & Appraisal
Familiar with required compliance & regulatory valuation requirements - USPAP
Creative / Forward thinking operator who can quickly adjust to client / market demands
Ability to recruit / network to backfill attrition or increase staffing based on volume demands
How many years of directly related job experience are required to be qualified to enter the job?

5+ years within valuation / settlement services
