Distillery and Tasting Room Trainee - Distiller, Brewer, Growth Opportunity

All Points West Distillery (Res Natura LLC) - Newark, NJ

Full-time | Part-time

All Points West Distillery —named after the old Jersey Central railroad that connected the ports west of the Hudson to the rest of continental North America—provides a Trans-Atlantic take on each small-batch of spirits they create. Historic techniques from the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland and Britain, which enabled immigrants from those countries to found dozens of successful distilleries and breweries thought the region(including 26 in Newark alone), are married with American approaches. The resulting spirits are innovative and crafted with care in small batches in Newark’s Ironbound, only 6 miles from America’s first distillery.

Bone Black Vodka: Made from 100% wheat and filtered through a dry distilled bone charcoal to effectively remove impurities, this vodka produces bold flavors with a smooth finish. Available in over-proofed (104 proof) and regular strength (80 proof)

Cathouse Gin: A mid-Atlantic style gin distilled using Dutch technique has a healthy balance of juniper and coriander along with a deep botanical richness

All Points West Malt and Grain Pot Still Whiskey: This style of whiskey distilled from Barley Malt and American Corn had flavor profile ruled “too American” to continue and was banned from production in Irish and Scottish Pot Still distilleries in 1908. The style, for the first time in 100 years, is available again, and finally produced in America.
